Please join us for our 40^th Church Anniversary celebration that will be held at Pershing Park Baptist Church located  1200 Old Fm 440 Rd, Killeen, TX 76549 on Sunday, February 23^rd @ 4pm.

Our next Council Meeting is Saturday, March 1^st at 10am.

 We the members of Westside cordially invite all the men 18 yrs and above to our 100 MEN OF VALOR celebration, Sunday March 9^th at 4pm. Sis Cook will be the guest speaker. The attire for the men is black suit, white shirt, and burgundy tie/bowtie. We are truly excited about this event and know that it will indeed be a blessing to you and all those who attend. Your presence will only enhance our celebration.

The Men’s Outreach is March 15^th from 7:30am to 2pm at 717 North 2^nd Street in Killeen. We need volunteers to cook, serve, minister, and set up clothing racks. POC Bro Otha Cook.



Chisolm’s Family Funeral Home will be hosting a Pre-need seminar “The Best Last Gift” at the Killeen Civic & Conference Center on Saturday, March 22^nd from 10am to 2pm. This seminar will give you valuable information and insight into advance funeral planning. You must RSVP by Saturday, March 15^th via text only at 512-566-3529. Bell Baptist Association is looking for Summer Missionaries! Are you fun loving, out-going, energetic and missions minded? Do you want to help spread the good news of Jesus Christ and have a great time doing it? If so and you’re 17 years old by May 1^st, please see the flyer located in the foyer.

The men’s retreat is May 8^th – the 10^th at Highland Lakes in Spicewood TX. The cost for the retreat is $110 per individual. The due date to pay is on or before April 5^th make checks payable to Westside Baptist Church and write on check that it’s for the Men’s Retreat. The sign-up sheet is in the foyer. Save the date! Our very own Sister Kelci Ellis is hosting “Evolutionary Love” a spiritual black woman empowerment 2-day workshop. This event will take place at the Killeen Civic Center on October 31^st and November 1^st. Tickets go on sell March 1^{st ,} there is limited seating.  For more information, please see the front office.

Please send in your baby picture with your name on it for “Guess Who This Is”. Pictures should be the age of 5 years old or younger. The younger the better. Please only one picture per person.

If you are an auxiliary leader, and have not taken the stewardship training course, please sign-up for the course on the sign-up sheet located in the foyer.

The Evangelism Team needs your help! They are requesting one member from each Auxiliary to join their team! They are also looking for men join. If you are interested, please see Reverend Dr. Rosebur.

The van ministry is looking for drivers to help with Sunday School, and Wednesday Bible Study pickup. Drivers must be responsible drivers with a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Please see Deacon Barrett if you are interested.

We’ve created a Westside Job/Skillset Directory to help our members who may need said services. Anyone who is interested in signing up for our Westside Job/Skillset directory or in need of more information or guidance, please text Brother Booker (512) 960-7423. The directory is located in the foyer

All announcements and cards are due by noon each Wednesday. Your announcement and cards MUST be turned into the office for approval.

Things to remember:

• The Discipleship study class will be held each Tuesday for the new members and anyone wishing to attend, at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall. POC is Rev Jones at 254-449-0507 and Sis Jones at 254-449-0505.
• Our Westside food pantry is now open every 3^rd Wednesday from 11am to 2pm.
• Anyone interested in helping at the Killeen Food Bank, pls meet here every 2^nd Saturday at 8am.
• Youth Announcements can be emailed to: westsideyouth1@yahoo.com
• Ministers’ Wives will meet on the 3^rd Saturday at 10am. Please contact Sis Jones for the location at 254-449-0505.
• The Children’s Church and the Westside Angels Children Church is held every 2^nd, 4^th, and 5^th Sundays.
• The Nursing Home Ministry meets at Killeen Rehab every 2^nd and 4^th Saturday.
• New members class is located in portable 3E every Sunday at 9:45am.
